One of the best things you can do for your mind, body, and soul is getting in touch with yoga. The practices of yoga are based on highly-developed processes that are proven to be ideal for mindfulness, weight loss, flexibility, joint mobility, and an overall inner-peace and self-awareness. Really, you can’t go wrong with getting involved in yoga.
Even better, there are ways to get involved in yoga and meet other like-minded people along the way. Having encouragement and support from a network means that your social well-being is tended to, as well as your physical and emotional well-being. See, yoga really can do it all!
AEGLYF is an organization that gets people together and gets them in touch with the joy of yoga. They round people up for a bunch of yoga events and teach the practices and principles of yoga while creating a solid social network.
On Tuesday evenings, AEGLYF will be hosting an outdoor yoga experience. This will take place on the Marina Bay Sands Boardwalk under the backdrop of the starlit sky. You can find the group decked in their yoga apparels right out front of the Red Dot Design Museum, Singapore.
All you need to bring with you is your yoga mat, be in your active wear, and bring any friends or colleagues who want to join in, and a positive mindset and attitude. Then, you’ll be ready to sweat it out yoga-style while watching the picturesque skyline as the sun sets. Each mat space is only $8 for such a holistic event.
This basic hatha yoga will happen every Tuesday. It is between 6.30pm and 7.30pm at the MBS Boardwalk. Don’t miss out on the combining yoga with the sunset, the fresh air, and a wonderful bunch of people.
* They have currently relocated their classes to Brownstone EC. Lessons at the MBS Boardwalk will resume prior to further notice.
